§ Mr. Alan HowarthOur aim is to ensure good quality, affordable childcare for children aged up to 14 in every neighbourhood. We recognise that there may be particular problems in rural areas. The Green Paper, 'Meeting the Childcare Challenge' asks whether there are areas of the country which particularly require attention under the strategy.
