To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will publish the number of live horses exported for slaughter within the EU by country of destination in each of the last three years. [51378]

I am in a position to answer only in relation to exports from Great Britain. None of the live equines exported from Great Britain in the years concerned was declared as being moved for the purpose of immediate slaughter.
