§ Dawn Primarolo[holding answer 27 July 1998]: About 250 charities, many in response to the Charities Taxation Review, have written asking for changes to the current treatment of dividend tax credits. We have made generous transitional arrangements to help charities adjust to the withdrawal of payable tax credits.
