§ Dawn PrimaroloThere are two aspects to this. First, the Customs and Excise consultation on how such a tax could operate asked for replies by the end of August. Second key results from the further work on the environment costs and benefits of the supply of aggregates are due in January. Both will be feeding into further consideration of the case for a tax or other measures.
