§ Angela EagleAt present, in line with central guidance, my Department does not normally carry out compliance cost assessments where legislative proposals are expected to be cost neutral or yield a net saving to business. Of those compliance cost assessments published by the Department since 1 May, one—for the Civil 121W Aviation (Navigation Services) Regulations 1998—has resulted in a net reduction of compliance costs for certain geographical areas.
