§ Ms Glenda JacksonThe Department is undertaking a wide-ranging study of its executive operations—including the Traffic Area Network (TAN)—which serves the community of drivers, vehicle keepers and operators, with the aim of ensuring that these services are provided as effectively as possible. Plans to redefine the traffic area boundaries have been deferred until the outcome of this work which is expected in the next few months.
