§ Mr. SpellarIn the current year, 28 Irregular Occupants have been served with eviction notices, none of whom were civilian licensees. It is not possible to predict future numbers as Irregular Occupancy arises as a result of loss of entitlement through bereavement, marital breakdown and personnel leaving the Services but remaining in their quarters. On occasion, civilian licensees may similarly refuse to leave their homes at the end of their licence periods but it is not possible to predict this eventuality. Even in such circumstances it is not always necessary to seek eviction of occupants.
