§ Mr. BattleEvaluation of the future export market for MOX fuel is for the commercial judgment of British Nuclear Fuels plc (BNFL), taking into account all relevant financial and economic factors.
The commercial and economic justification for the Sellafield MOX Plant is currently the subject of a further public consultation, on the justification of the proposed uranium commissioning and operation of the plant, being undertaken by the Environment Agency (EA). It is for the EA to decide on the justification for the plan on the basis of all evidence, including any reports, made available to them.
