§ Angela EagleA large number of conferences and seminars were held following the publication of the Rural White Paper, "Rural England: A Nation Committed to a Living Countryside" in 1995. "Rural England 1996" reported that these events were arranged by voluntary agencies, parish, district and county councils. Government Ministers participated in over 50 of such meetings. Records of the individuals and organisations who attended each of the meetings are not held centrally.
