To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security (1) how many claims for extended payments of(a) housing benefit and (b) council tax benefit have been unsuccessful since the extended payment system was introduced because they were made outside the eight-day qualifying period; [25633]

(2) how many people have received extended payments of (a) housing benefit and (b) council tax benefit on starting a family credit claim since the extended payment system was introduced. [25634]
