§ Judy MallaberTo ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry (1) if he will instruct Redundancy Pay Services Department offices(a) to process claims for employees made redundant by a business or the Official Receiver as soon as the office makes the individual calculation and (b) not to wait for a whole batch of calculations for that business to be completed before making any individual payments; [64566]
(2) if he will take measures to ensure that all Redundancy Pay Services Department offices process immediately the claims of employees made redundant by the Official Receiver when their firm becomes insolvent. [64567]
