§ Ms ArmstrongIn 1998/99, the standard spending assessment for personal social services in Worcestershire was £66.9 million. An additional amount of £3.2 million was also provided, amongst other special and specific grants, as a special transitional grant for community care clients. In 1999–2000, the standard spending assessment for personal social services is £70.7 million. An additional programme of specific and special grant funding will also be provided in 1999–2000.
