To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will list the representations received by his Department on the draft national minimum wage regulations concerning the level of the proposed accommodation deduction, indicating the balance of opinions submitted on the level of the proposed amount; and if he will make a statement. Few of those who responded to the exercise said that they would like the offset to be increased. We are currently considering the representations and will present the regulations to Parliament for approval shortly.
