§ Janet Anderson[holding answer 3 December 1998]: I am not aware that any grant applications to my Department have been submitted by the Hinduja group of companies. However, to confirm that there have been no such applications would entail disproportionate cost to the Department, given the number of Grant Schemes administered by the Department and the fact that the Hinduja Group consists of a large number of companies with different names.
