Whether the forthcoming Tax Review Consultation paper will address the difficulties imposed on small rural communities by the recent clarification note issued by Her Majesty's Customs and Excise on the VAT refund scheme. [HL71]
§ Lord McIntosh of HaringeyOver 3,000 responses were received in the first phase of the Review of Charities' Taxation, including letters from charities concerned about rural community issues. All the contributions are currently being analysed and will inform a public consultation document which will be published as soon as possible.
