The possibility of introducing parliamentary scrutiny of Export of Goods (Control) Orders (EGCOs) is one of the issues being considered in the current DTI-led review of strategic export controls. The Government expect to publish their proposals during the current parliamentary session, probably in the form of a White Paper.
