§ Mr. BoatengThe Department of Health looks to the medical profession to formulate guidelines for treatment. Clinical trials are still underway on the place of "Taxol" in the treatment of ovarian cancer. I understand that the latest results are due to be presented at the meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology next month and we look forward to discussion with the profession after that. It would be premature to issue guidelines for its use until sufficient evidence is available.
