§ Mr. HoonThe Government's proposed reforms to legal aid and conditional fees will increase access to justice for everyone, young or old. We believe that it will be possible for people regardless of age or financial standing to find lawyers to take P.I. cases through conditional fee agreements. It is important that we re-focus the Legal Aid Fund towards the areas where it can bring greatest help and do most good, and in which there is no alternative to publicly funded help with legal fees.
