§ Mr. George HowarthUnder their terms of service, General Practitioners are required to issue certain certificates to their patients free of charge. These include attestations for an absent vote on grounds of physical incapacity.
If a patient is charged a fee for this service, and is unable to resolve the matter with the doctor concerned, the local Health Authority has the power to investigate such complaints and take appropriate action.
