§ Mr. GalbraithLothian health board has indicated that there is a range of services available for patients who have been diagnosed as suffering from ME. General Medical Practitioners usually refer patients to the Infectious Disease Department of the City Hospital. Following diagnosis, patients are offered appropriate treatment for 457W specific symptoms, advice, counselling, psychological support and, if necessary, referral to a psychiatrist with particular expertise in ME. Lothian health board has indicated that it has no plans at present to change the range of services provided.
