§ Mr. Robin CookI approved the initiation of GCHQ's PFI project in May last year, and fully support the aim to consolidate their operations onto one site. The project is at an advanced stage and four tenders for a single-site solution are currently being evaluated. I will consider GCHQ's recommendations for the final stages of the project next month. An announcement on the future location of GCHQ is expected during the second half of the year.
