§ Dawn PrimaroloA consultation document seeking views on the options for reforming vehicle excise duty will be published shortly. The aim is to introduce a system246W which provides for a £50 reduction in vehicle excise duty for smaller, cleaner cars next year. In the meantime, vehicle excise duty rates are being frozen.
