HC Deb 08 April 1998 vol 310 c245W
Mr. Oaten

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if people obtaining the disabled person's tax credit will be entitled to the same benefit payments as recipients of the disability working allowance. [37842]

Dawn Primarolo

[holding answer 6 April 1998]: The changes to tapers and thresholds announced in the Budget mean that most people will receive more from the Disabled Person's Tax Credit than they would have received from the Disability Working Allowance for a given level of pay, and no-one will receive less.
