§ Mr. HoonSince 1 May 1997, Ministers in the Lord Chancellor's Department have hosted four receptions. These events were attended by 924 people at a cost of £12,029.20.
Of this sum £10,638.94 was spent on an annual event which was attended by 830 people and which the serving Lord Chancellor hosts as head of the judiciary. The figure for the previous year was £10,099,26.
