To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what are the key targets set for the Chief Executive of the Defence Transport and Movements Executive for the financial year 1998–99. [38775]

The Chief Executive of the Defence Transport and Movements Executive has been set the following key targets for the Financial Year 1998–99.

Key Target 1:

To exceed 90 per cent. of customers' perceived satisfaction of requirements.

Key Target 2:

To establish the baseline for the quality of the Unaccompanied Baggage Service, to enable subsequent measurement of improvements.

Key Target 3:

To exceed 90 per cent. satisfaction of customers' requirements.

Key Target 4:

To establish unit costs per output data to enable the setting of realistic efficiency targets for subsequent years.
