§ Mr. DenhamAs at 31 August 1997, there were 370,000 people aged between 65 and 80 receiving the mobility component of disability living allowance.
Disability living allowance is available for people who become disabled before the age of 65. Once awarded there are no upper age limits and benefit continues for as long as the disabled person continues to satisfy the conditions of entitlement.
