§ Mr. BoatengThe Government have no current plans to introduce a system of statutory registration of the title psychologists. I recently met with representatives of the British Psychological Society and indicated the Government's intention for officials to work with them to develop a programme of work in order to ensure that existing systems for regulating and promoting good practice are maintained and developed.
