§ Baroness HaymanArrangements for reopening Hammersmith Bridge are the responsibility of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. I understand that the borough's programme of strengthening work is due to be completed by the end of the summer of 1999. Whilst the works are in hand, the borough intends to initiate discussions on the future use of the bridge.
