To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs when he plans to publish the 1996 annual report on Hong Kong. [21572]

The report was published today and a copy has been placed in the Libraries of the House. The report includes a foreword written by my right hon. and learned Friend the Foreign Secretary. I commend it to the House.
