To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps he has taken to consult organisations representing blind and partially sighted people over the possibility of introducing braille templates in which to insert ballot papers and if he will make a statement. [21462]

Officials have been in correspondence with the Royal National Institute for the Blind and are meeting representatives of that organisation next week.
