§ Mr. PaiceThe initial claim from the Further Education Funding Council, of £82 million in this financial year has been met in full by the Department. This has been managed by drawing on existing underspends across a range of DfEE budgets. The underspends which have been used to meet the initial claim would otherwise have been returned to the Exchequer at the end of this financial year.
