To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will investigate the reliability and punctuality of charter flight companies on long-haul flights. [17771]

Reliability and punctuality are matters for the airlines themselves. My Department publishes quarterly reports on the punctuality of flights at UK airports. All UK airlines must attain the high standards of safety required by the Civil Aviation Authority.
