§ Mr. MichaelWe are pursuing a wide ranging programme of activities to reform and speed up the youth justice system and to prevent youth crime. We will introduce child protection orders to ensure that young children are not left to roam the streets unsupervised at nights, and a new parental responsibility order to ensure that parents face up to their responsibility for their children's misbehaviour and are given the help they need to deal with it.
