§ Angela EagleSupport for local authorities' capital expenditure is available through the capital challenge pilot scheme in three financial years: 1997–98; 1998–99; and 1999–00. Estimates for support for successful projects from the private and voluntary sectors are available only for the three-year period as a whole, and are as follows:
- Voluntary Sector: £20 million
- Other Private Sector: £678 million.
