To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what is the estimated cost of implementing the US-UK 1958 mutual defence agreement for co-operation on the uses of atomic energy for defence purposes since it was last amended. [12090]

The information requested is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) how many times he has made requests to the United States Government for permission to transfer nuclear weapons information of United States provenance provided under the US-UK 1958 mutual defence agreement for co-operation on the uses of atomic energy for defence purposes to France; [12082]

(2) on how many occasions there have been requests by the United States Government for permission to transfer nuclear weapon information of British provenance provided under the US-UK 1958 mutual defence agreement for co-operation on the uses of atomic energy for defence purposes to France. [12083]
