§ Mr. Gwilym JonesMy right hon. Friend announced our spending plans for 1997–98 on 12 December 1996,Official Report, columns 405–19. These include £113 million for the trunk road and motorway network and £76 million for local roads, including £54 million for transport grant schemes. Details of future improvements to the road network will be published in the Welsh Office's departmental report in the spring.
