I met the London borough of Redbridge on 7 January to discuss its local authority spending plans. I have no plans at present to visit Redbridge My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State announced details of the 1997–98 local government finance settlement, affecting the spending plans of all local authorities in England, in a written answer to my hon.
