§ Mr. HoramThe chief medical officer is not making any inquiries into the numbers of hospital emergency cases. He is, however, leading a group reviewing the provision of emergency services in the community. The group published a consultation document called "Developing Emergency Services in the Community" in November 1996, copies of which are available in the Library. A final report will be published later this year.
