§ Mrs. GillanThe Department gave careful consideration to all the evidence available to it about events at Hawksworth Hall school, including the report of the independent inquiry commissioned by Scope. That evidence did not warrant action by the Secretary of State against any teachers at the school on grounds of misconduct.
