To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he will set out for each district and islands council area for 1995–96 the total public expenditure in the categories of Scottish Homes approved development programme(a) housing association for rent, (b) housing association shared ownership, (c) housing association improvement for sale, (d) GRO grant for rent, (e) GRO grant for low cost home ownership and (f) total ADP; [41066]

(2) if he will set out for each district and islands council area for 1995–96 the total number of dwelling completions in the categories of Scottish Homes approved development programme, (a) housing associations for rent, (b) housing associations shared ownership, (c) housing associations improvement for sale, (d) GRO grant for rent, (e) GRO grant for low cost home ownership and (f) total ADP. Mr. Davidson

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the progress to date of the individual house purchase scheme established to assist the disabled in obtaining appropriate housing. [41213]

Mr. Raymond S. Robertson

The individual house purchase scheme, which assists disabled people to buy—or rent—suitable homes, is operated by Margaret Blackwood housing association using funding provided by Scottish Homes. Scottish Homes is currently in discussion with the association on ways to improve the usefulness of the scheme.
