§ Mr. AncramIn 1993–94, 995 national vocational qualifications awards were made by the main bodies to persons aged 19 or under; in 1994–95 the figure was 756. Enrolments in general national vocational qualifications programmes in further education colleges were as follows:

- 1994–95: 5,234.
