§ Mr. Gwilym JonesThe Vale of Glamorgan council is undertaking preliminary design and other preparation work with the support of transport grant from the Welsh Office. The council has recently submitted a bid to continue this work in 1997–98. My right hon. Friend will make an announcement on the settlement next month.
