§ Mr. Gwilym JonesUnder the 30 month slaughter scheme, the Government pay the cost of carcase disposal.This includes the transport costs beyond the abattoir. Costs for transporting live animals to abattoirs is the responsibility of producers either directly or via the commission charged by livestock markets.
