§ Mr. HoramThere were 1,996 newly diagnosed cases of cancer of the larynx (ICD1 161) in 1990, the latest year for which data are available. Figures for earlier years are given in the annual reference volumes, "Cancer statistics: registrations", series MBI, copies of which are available in the Library.
Information on possible exposure—occupational or otherwise—to asbestos related to newly diagnosed cases of cancer of the larynx is not collected.
