To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is(a) the total area of the premises, (b) the area of office space and (c) the area of office space currently in use at Salisbury tax office. [29086]

The areas of the premises, office space and office space currently used by Salisbury tax office are as follows—figures shown are in square metres:

Details of the amounts paid annually by the Inland Revenue in respect of its occupation of Salisbury tax office are as follows:

Mr. Jack

There are two tax districts and a collection office in Swindon. The amounts paid annually by the Inland Revenue in respect of its occupation total £491,687 which includes rent, service charge and a contribution in lieu of rates. It is not possible to provide details of individual recipients and amounts paid to them as this information is commercially confidential.
