Mr. Morgan

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what consultation he has had with the chairman of the South-East Wales ambulance trust about management redundancies; what provision will be made in the accounts for the year 1996–97 for the costs of the redundancies; and what assessment he has made of that impact on the delivery of services. [28081]

Mr. Hague

None; these are operational matters for the board of the trust. My officials will be discussing with the trust its plans for 1996–97 on receipt of its annual operational plan by the end of May 1996.
