To ask the President of the Board of Trade what estimate he has made of satellite dish sales in(a) Wales, (b) England, (c) Scotland and (d) Northern Ireland in the last five years. [22235]

Estimated sales of satellite dishes in United Kingdom for each year from 1991 to 1995 are:

  • 1991: 710,000
  • 1992: 710,000
  • 1993: 740,000
  • 1994: 750,000
  • 1995: 760,000

I am not aware of any statistics separately available for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
