Dr. Lynne Jones

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what has been the capital spending by each local education authority in each of the last five years for which figures are available; what have been the Government capital allocations in each of those years and in all subsequent years for which allocations have been made. Table A gives capital spending by local education authorities for the years 1990–91 to 1994–95 inclusive.

Government capital allocations over the years 1990–91 to 1996–97 inclusive and are given in table B.
