§ Mr. Hague[holding answer 4 March 1996]: The trust has provided monthly financial information to my Department since May 1993. My Department became concerned about the financial performance of the trust following a meeting on 24 June 1994. The financial information submitted by the trust in August reinforced these concerns. A letter was sent to the chief executive on 2 September 1994 expressing the Department's disquiet and asking for an assurance that the necessary action would be taken to meet statutory financial obligations.
