To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will list the countries that have ratified(a) The Hague convention on the civil aspects of international child abduction and (b) the European convention on recognition and enforcement of decisions concerning custody of children. Belgium is the only member of the European Union which has not ratified both The Hague convention on the civil aspects of child abduction and the European convention on recognition and enforcement of decisions concerning the custody of children.
